Some of the Finest Turquoise in the World comes from The Hubei Province in China. The Chinese have a long and rich history with Turquoise and their use of Turquoise can be dated back to 1700 BC. Red River Turquoise is one of my favorites with its beautiful soft blue Wash of color and contrasting brown matrix. Value of Turquoise from the Hubei Province has continued to rise due to closing off of the Turquoise Mines and a higher amount of Turquoise staying in China as its popularity continues to grow.
